“My fiancé and I just bought a new house in Calwell which needed a bit of work. Particularly, in the bathrooms but also a few other touch ups as well.

Concerned about the budget we obviously didn’t want to spend too much but also didn’t want to compromise on quality. Boy did we find the right bloke!

We did our research and got a few quotes to check competitiveness but decided to go with Steve from Inspired Building mainly because he appeared the most professional and mentioned the triple water seal in the bathrooms which the others didn’t. Although, he was competitive price-wise he wasn’t the cheapest of the quotes.. but as the saying goes ‘you get what you pay for’ and that really turned out to be the case with Steve.

Quality and professionalism is often hard to find in the building trades and we have heard so many horror stories of botched renovations resulting in blown budgets and finger pointing between the different trades (i.e. “not my fault that was the tiler / plasterer / painter / electrician etc who I have nothing to do with… complain to him etc).

Not so with Inspired Building. Steve took complete control and responsibility over the WHOLE job and worked with all the other trades seamlessly to deliver the end product on time and on budget (well pretty damn close at least – my fiancé and I couldn’t help ourselves with a few additions which weren’t in the original quote. He even built me a custom work bench in the garage after all the house renovations where finished).

And to top things off, he even gave us a discount on our bill because of a few scratches in the existing slate floor caused by other tradesman… ever heard of that before!?!?

If you are looking to renovate your home stress free, Steve from Inspired Building is the ticket. Don’t compromise on quality in your own home… so glad we didn’t.
